In typography, a serif is a short line or finishing stroke – subtle, but defining – at the end of the longer stroke of a letter.  Typefaces with serifs are known for their traditional, authoritative, and timeless feel, making them ideal for formal occasions and enduring across generations.

In life, mothers carry much the same influence: their habits, rhythms, and ways of being settle into us and shape us over time, until one day their ways become our own – in the foods we eat, phrases we repeat, and traditions we keep.
